Qinhuangdao Glass Industry Research and Design Institute (QGRDI) is affiliated with China National Building Materials Group and was founded in 1953. It is one of the earliest glass research and design units in China and the main inventor of the "Luoyang Float Glass Process". It has a Class A design qualification in the building materials industry and integrates scientific research, design, engineering general contracting, and testing. In the design of various glass melting furnace projects, the electrode layout of the electric melting system and the selection of rectification and voltage regulating transformers are the core links. Galaxy Transformer and Qinhuangdao Institute have carried out technical cooperation in the design and selection of electric assisted melting/full electric melting systems for melting furnaces, as well as electrical matching for EPC projects, providing a comprehensive solution for power supply equipment for the glass industry.
